Die Nacht war heiß – und das im doppelte Sinne!
Zum einen hatte die texanische Sonne tagsüber unbarmherzig auf das Land herabgebrannt und schien es in eine gigantische Grillplatte verwandelt zu haben, die auch jetzt noch am späten Abend nachglüte.
